I've lived in the US since I was 8 but only recently became a citizen in 2007. This is the first election I am able to vote in (as an absentee voter) and it feels even more important and meaningful to me then any other election. use your right to vote to help us make sense of our country once again.

going to a 'democrats abroad' event tonight here in Stockholm with my very obsessed with American politics Swedish boy. unfortunately no camera, no photos. I'll be thinking of my sister who has gone to Denver to help the Obama campaign win over that swing state- she can't vote since she hasn't applied to be a citizen but she's doing everything she can. that's who I'll be thinking of when Obama becomes president.
